Does any know of a good japaneese beetle control. hopefully organic?

can anyone gice me a good organic recipe for the control of Japaneese Beetles?Does any know of a good japaneese beetle control. hopefully organic?
You can pick off and kill beetles, evening is best, and you drop them in a bucket of soapy water ,don't squash them ,it attracts more. Go after your lawn where they also hide with parasitic nemotodes.Does any know of a good japaneese beetle control. hopefully organic?
Well I just had this same problem and I used a spray bottle, half water and half Lemon Joy dishwashing detergent.

I sprayed my bushes, trees, and roses, and it worked! So far they haven't been back in a week.

I was told this many years ago, but never had the beetle problem till now.
Research 'Surround the home' it is a kaolin clay based product some find very helpful.

Around here fertilizing plants seems to make them less tasty to Beetles.

Also if you have a pond or lake with fish i have a hilarious solution that my brother has found very enjoyable and rewarding. Take a Japanese beetle trap, the plastic yellow kind that you hang a bag below. Trim the bottom of the bag off. Hang the trap above the water so that the open end of the bag is only three or four inches above the surface. The beetles are attracted to the trap, they swarm it and enter the trap fall through it and hit the water surface before they can fly off. Fish love these stupid beetles. Once your fish learn beetles fall into the water there they hang out all day and eat them as they fall. The fish are so happy to eat the beetles here they jump out of the water and get the beetles that fly near the surface. It is very satisfying to watch them get what they deserve! Plus the bag never has to be emptied. Our bag is about 15' from the water's edge. The fish are perch, blue gill and bass, not koi.

How can I control Japanese Beetles naturally?

Japanese Beetles are eating my rose bushes and several other perennials in my garden. They are also eating my herbs. I want to spray them with a natural repellent--and one that won't ';flavor'; my basil. I would hate to ruin my pesto with a dish soap taste! Thanks. How can I control Japanese Beetles naturally?
The first step in control, and the least toxic, is a bucket or jar of water with a bit of soap added (reduces the surface tension of the water so the buggers drown) Then just go around and knock the buggers into the bucket with your finger. If there are too many beetles and something more toxic is needed then the Neem Oil sprays can be used. What you do is determined by how many there are, how much plant damage you can stand, and how much time and energy you want to expend on control.

Long term controls involve the grubs these adults come from and will be laying eggs in a bit that will become more beetles next year. Applying Milky Spore Disease, Bacillus popilliae, to your soil in late July / early August so the disease pathogen spores get down to where the newly hatched grubs are eating is one means of control, and there are parasitic nematodes available.

Strong, heatlhy plants growing in good, healthy soil are less susceptible to attack by insect pests so dig in now and look closely at your soil and start doing what is necessary to balance the nutrients in the soil so good, healthy plants can grow there.

What can I do to control Japanese beetles on my roses and other plants?

Sprinkle them with Sevin dust. It works great on Japanese beetlesWhat can I do to control Japanese beetles on my roses and other plants?
If you don't want to use harsh chemicals, you can just spray your roses with dish soap mixed in water. I just check my roses daily, and knock the little buggers into a cup full of soapy water. What can I do to control Japanese beetles on my roses and other plants?
Use bug spray.
Use seiven spray or if you want to get them before they turn into beetles get a product called milk spore. You put it on your lawn and it kills the grubs that turn into the beetles. It is expensive but it lasts for 20 yrs.
Have you tried a systemic? I use Bayer systemic granules for roses and other ornamentals; it takes care of many insects, and some diseases as well.
Well, your lawn requires a chemical treatment. There are sprays/powders that you can apply directly to the rose bushes and other plants. Then,of course, there are those bags that hang on a hook that trap them. Simply stick into various sections of your lawn. The Japanese Beetles are attracted to these bags that will trap them. They are rather bothersome little creatures !!

What is the best method to control Japaneese Beetles in the Northeast?

The beetles come out in droves and destroy many plants and trees each year. Other than spray Sevin I can't seem to make a dent in the amount of damage each season. What is the best method to control Japaneese Beetles in the Northeast?
This guy I know, who has all kinds of random information in his head, once told me that you should treat for grubs on July 4th - you put that Grub killing lawn treatment down - it has to have some ingredient that starts w/ M - 2 sylables. Sorry can't remember what it is.What is the best method to control Japaneese Beetles in the Northeast?
Other than Sevin I would try using a Japanese beetle trap. They work real well but you may need a handful of them to start out just to catch up with them. I would continue to spray at the same time. There is no sure fire way to get rid of all of them at once. You just have to keep after them.
Napalm. Only thing I've heard of being effective. ;)
